#newsrw – Greg Hadfield of Cogapp

by Matt Buck on 18th January 2010

#newsrw@GregHadfieldNewsRewired – the event for those interested in making the news – had some breaking stuff all of its own last week.

During his panel session in front of more than 100 delegates, Greg Hadfield, one of the UK’s more conspicuously successful journalists and business people announced a change of job.

He explained his move from the Daily Telegraph to digital firm Cogapp as the result of a refusal to wait any longer for institutional journalism to catch up with the opportunities of digital.

Drawnalism taken at the conference. Drawnalism’s final post on the event will be posted later this week.

Updated 19th Jan 2010: Greg Hadfield has written for the Media Guardian repeating his words from the #newsrw event.
